Written & Directed by Sunny Deol himself a sequel of his 90’s super successful classical Ghayal. Ajay Mehra iz back but sadly not as much as powerful he was in Ghayal. Sunny paji’s direction iz awesome somewhere but script has it’s drawbacks. Writing iz so boring, screenplay iz so usual and predictable. I’m big fan of Dhai Kilo Ka Hath of Sunny Paji but this iz not good at that level neither in acting, not script wise good not even as emotionally engaging as old Ghayal. I loved Sunny sir in Ghayal Ghatak, Betab, Gadar, Border, Apne and in few more but in this he iz ok kinda.
A surely one time watch movie for his fans. It can never be compared to old Ghayal. Plot reminds me of BigBrother, Jai Ho kinda movies where one hero fights with political party or some corrupt businessman. Here nothing much new. He executed some scenes brilliantly such as mall scene, chase scene etc but if he had focused more on Ajay Mehra’s character then we would have a good masala film. But unfortunately he didn’t so this will disappoint old Ghayal film fans. Performances by 4 actors, Soha, OmPuri are ok while Villain iz damn good. Loved his acting as industrialist. I would say his role iz more developed than Ajay Mehra. Well Sunny Paji more concentrated on direction of his actors but not to the script or his role which he should have done. There are some dramatic moments, over dramatic dialogues and bad VFX so this couldn’t be a best film. It’s one time watch only for his fans.
