‘Comedy-thriller’ is one genre that is not often attempted by many filmmakers however, director Raj Kumar Gupta has been brave enough to take this path. After attempting serious films like ‘Aamir’ and ‘No One Killed Jessica’, Gupta opted to change lanes with ‘Ghanchakkar’.

‘Ghanchakkar’ could have been a ‘classic’ if it was handled well; slow pace of the movie coupled with boring performances is bound to get you ‘chakkar’. Seasoned actors like Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan were simply under utilized in this half-baked movie.
