After a long time, I got a movie which can transform you while watching. It is the story about a workman who carries his coleague's body to his far away homeland.
Getting Home(Luo ye Gui Gen)
Director: *Zhang Yang
Actor Benshan Zhao plays the workman who is in his middle ages carries the deadbody of his friend Liu to keep his promise that the body will be cremated only in Liu's faraway homeland.
It is amazing to watch how the story unveils through many small but subtle situations . The story develops through many strangers and Zhao's brief but effective acquaintances. The movie ends with a tiny twist.
The memorable characters & sequences:
The way the lorry driver gets inspired by Zhao's words to search for his lost lover
Zhao ties the body to a tyre and rolls it through the road and the way that experiment fails. It really evokes big laughs.
The beekeeper boy's poem on "home"

Zhao's character is so practical that he can cry for a stranger's death to have food and at the same time he can pose as the uncle of an orphan woman in front of the cop even when he has no personal gain in doing so.
