I live in a small town in South Carolina about 45 minutes from Savannah, Georgia.
I go there often with my family. We go down to the Riverwalk to the shops and eat at the restaurants down by the water. Watching the trolley going by and the boats going under the bridges.
Movies are filmed there often as they are where I live. Forrest Gump is one of the most known movies that was filmed in Savannah, Ga.
You can take tours and learn about the history and homes of the town.
It's a very beautiful place to visit.
It has your regular malls and shopping centers in town along with their own minor league baseball team.
You can play miniture golf as well.
Savannah also has shows going on. Christmas shows, gun shows and then concerts, too.
