Sometimes the underdogs win it... Review on Geojit Financial Services

Well guys my earlier review was abt icicidirect where I held an account for almost 3yrs..and I said all the best things abt it in my review...but recently life was a pain with icici...the site went down whenever the market crashed or boomed....i was unable to exit or enter into any positions..worse I was paying the highest brokerage charges for a piece of crap...i dnt mind paying a bit extra if I get good product...but when u get such kinda crap service it ain't worth it...

I started to luk for other service providers...naturally I zeroed down on 2 of them who had the lowest brokerage charges motilal oswal and geojit....geojit had the lowest of them 0.03percent on intra day and 0.3percent on delivery.....didnt have a good experience with motilal oswal...they were more interested to manage my portfolio...whereas I am an mba finance who knows to tk care of his investments...

I didnt think much...called up geojit...they have a branch almost everywhere...near to my office also...the guy came next day  and my account was ready in 7-8 days...they sent me password by email ...

And its nuthin but my pleasure trading on the site...i hv a basic account but still I get real time quotes when I login....even the BSE site gives quotes 2-3min back...but geojit streams on ur screen....and the brokerage for intra day must say is the cheapest in the mkt....most of the  times I end up paying nuthin for intra day...whereas in delivery I pay only 0.30 percent and the site is also good at navigation.....but it works when u hv a resolution of 1024 by 864...so  hv to readjust it on my comp...not dat much trouble...

Most importantly...the site is up 99 out of 100 times...there was only once I experienced a prob but still I was able to place an order....Sumtimes in life the smallest of the things make a big impact....icici might be the best n leading brokerage house...but I believe geojit jst steals d show......in short small is better!! I recommend this site for every common man who wants to save hefty brokerage charges n still enjoy world class service....
