Side Mirrors for a two wheeler..Why not Mandatory?
Nov 12, 2015 02:19 PM 4397 Views

Many of the State governments are passing the rule that "Helmet is Mandatory" for all the two wheeler. It is really a good initiation and should be accepted, followed  by all of us as it is for the safety of us.

If you wear the helmet you can not see the side traffic or Traffic just behind(Right or Left) to you directly as it is covered by the helmet. Then how can you see the vehicles crossing you from right. The only option is you have look at the mirrors for the traffic behind you and based on that you cross, move left or right.

I found many instances with 2 wheelers with our mirrors, where people wearing Helmet or not just cross or move left or right with out looking at the Traffic behind which causes a lot of Traffic issues along with accidents.

Based on the safety  I personally suggest that Helmet along with Side Mirrors should be made Mandatory for all the 2 wheelers of India.

All Voice your inputs.
