Traveling tips, well I feel it differs depending on the person who is traveling and his needs. Even then there are some basic things, which are necessary to carry along when traveling. I am focusing more on packing part of travel.

Me being particular(is it hyperbole?!) I make sure that I plan a lot before anything and when its going to be traveling and being out of your habitual everyday city, you are going to be held up in a place where you don?t know, where what is available.

So starting with the wave of how brain works, think what all you need starting from the time you get up in morning. It may sound so stupid but when you don?t carry it you know how life is? imagine you forgot a toothbrush, you will get one I know but you realise when you have to brush and you are in half sleep in the morning and then the first day you manage with the paste on your finger(finger is used as substitute in many ways) and then maybe buy from market for the next mornings.

So when you pack your things start thinking what all you need(toothbrush, paste, towel, comb, soap, towel, talcum powder, cream(moisturizer etc), shaving kit, hair oil, vicks, pain balm etc) most of things you may get from hotel but make sure you have it too. This will not take space as all comes in a small pouch, which is handy as you can find everything together.

Next are clothes. Wait a minute clothes mainly undergarments(they are important than what you think) and of course other clothes according to your stay and events. Sometime you may require 2 pairs in a single day. Another blunder(have experienced) make sure you carry all pieces or your garment. Salwar and chunni is there no kameez! Or you have a saree and no matching blouse. It happens don?t giggle there;) Other accessories like cap, scarf, hand kerchief etc. even a smallest thing missed disappoints us when we need. Makeup girls! Lipstick, kajal, liner, clips, hair band etc. don?t forget all this. Guys don?t forget belts, ties, etc. for nightwear take appropriate stuffs and accessories(I mean whatever you need, its decent not to speak more)

That?s about dressing etc, next is you make sure if you going to tourist place or holiday you carry a camera so that you can take pictures. A very important thing is a medicine pouch, having common medicines for headache, vomiting, body pain, fever, cough and cold; because these are general travel symptoms and more so if you have children. Allergy a danger, carry appropriate medicine for allergies too.

Food(how can I miss that) ofcourse some for short period, maybe train travel or a initial small journey again more important if there are children. Otherwise you get it everywhere and adults can manage eating outside food. But if you can carry something like sandwiches or paratha or thepla(Gujarati dish) then it acts as support.

Other things depend on you visit purpose like taking gifts for relatives or papers necessary, if going for business).

Money money! Cash or credit card is better option. Can?t forget, it is necessary if you create blunder in packing above things and otherwise also for shopping. Here I remember one more thing, you must stuff in more bags because you may land up with more stuff while coming back, it happens because of shopping and other reasons that your used clothes take more space then ironed clothes. So you can push in some cloth bags or some plastic bags in your main bag.

This planned packing is not enough unless you know where is what?. Or you may end up searching everything. So pack properly to enjoy tension free journey and travel. Happy journey!
