I want to share my experience with all those people who wish to opt hosting plan from indiatimes team.
Actually I have opted 1GB hosting plan from indiatimes( @ 2999/-) and I am very very disappointed from their services regarding hosting services from hydrabad office & customer services from gurgaon office.
When there is a problem with our domain being not working due to some server issues, and bychance we complaint through E-Mail. these are the steps followed by Indiatimes:
By Hosting support:
1) no repply to the customer E-Mail after complaint
2) waiting for a day customer calls. they say please E-Mail us the problem.
3) then you tell them on phone you have e-mailed already( I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY DO THEY ASK YOU TO MAIL WHEN THEY HAVE TO READ IT AFTER PHONING THEM.)
4) next question" they ask you from mail you have mail and on which e-mail.
5) SO THE SUMMARY IS PHONEUP AT HOSTING SUPPORT, SEND YOUR E-MAIL AT THE SAME TIME AND ASK SOMEBODY TO CHECK IT THEN AND THERE WHEN YOU ARE HOLDING THE LINE.
6) so after introducing your problem finally you can only sit and wait. that it will be resolved some day. no acknowdeldgement or reply of the mail comes back. when you phone them they say when it will be resolved we will get back to you.
NOW WHO KNOW IN HOW MUCH TIME( is this technically a hosting support if they don't know the problems and appr. of solving time?) .but during this free time you are too busy calculating your losses and reputation in the market.
Looking to the fact that there are other company who are providing hosting services like Yahoo, rediff etc. infact in cheap manner but they are more reliable and good support. I personally suggest that if you are looking for good hosting company & good hosting support then at present indiatimes is not a good option.
