Many of us travel a lot. But we seldom keep record of our travel – where we went, when, and how. Several years later much of what we did get erased from our memory. But if we record our travel data, it would be easy for us to recollect our past travels. The log itself well help us as a prompt to rake up our brain to bring back the past memories associated with that trip. This is what Flight Memory website helps do. Basic service which is more than enough to record flights is free.

All you have to do is to register with the site and log in your flight data whenever you fly. The website does the rest. It maps your fights on the World map and also on the native country map. It tracks total distance traveled, expresses the distance travelled in terms of circumnavigating the earth, total hours and days spend in fights, airports and countries visited, airlines and aircrafts used, and more. Just look at my profile to understand what information the website generates from the simple inputs provided.

Unfortunately the site as of now does not have India map because there are not enough members from India for them to create the map. I used Australia as my domestic map because my daughter lives there. I will switch to India as soon as they create a map. Note, even Thailand has a map not our country. They will include India if more Indians use this useful website. Register with the site and let your friends know about it. After logging in enough number of flights you may order a copy of the World map with your flights plotted on it. I intend to order my map after I complete my visit to South America – a continent I have not been to so far.
