Ads... intimidating...

Its seems like creativity is seeing its terrible phase in India.

especially with certain ads on the television. For example.(actually

writing very specific to this ad:-P)

there is this ad on TV,

where-in a boy tries hard at tennis. and is terrible at it.

eventually he gulps 7up and well he becomes a big cricketer. and next

thing you know its Dhoni! C'mon. gimme a break! Seriously does it

make any sense at all?

there needs to be a censor board I think

for ads as well. so that ads like these are kept off from being

aired, and players themselves need to have some sort of dignity and

self respect while endorsing for a brand. and appearing in such ads!

also

a very popular formula to get rich - becomeĀ  cricketer. score in a

couple of matches. and endorse for brands. seriously whol cares abt

the game. or the country. right?

seeems like its a long night for me.:-P

again getting back to the topic of ads. there should not ads which intimidate people when they watch it. for example. KFC, finger licking good. well this ad is very disturbing(no offnse meant to anyone. just my personal thought . although there might be others who might agree with me). I am a veggie. and every time I see the ad(or forced to) I have a strange gut feeling.

these guys who make the ad need to understand that teraing apart a roasted animal' body or ripping thru it will have an ill impact on others! people either are very senseless.(refer my prev post) or very involved! there needs to be a right balance between the two. and creativity added makes a good ad. infact there are certain ads that I watch, even if I have to switch my favorite TV prog! thats how ads need to be. opinions are welcome.
