Sleep for a hale and hearty Body & Mind

?General advice on sleeping habits? - Hi friends, its me again on a Health Issue. Right from my very young age, my parents, my friends & relatives, always keep complaining that I generally have a very sound sleep and that I sleep for long hours. Yes, that?s very true. When I was in my standard X, my dad even took me to our family doctor saying that I sleep for almost 9 hours(from 10.00 p.m. to 7.15 a.m.). The doctor really laughed at my dad and said that I was very very lucky to get such sound sleep.


Well, now moving on to the topic, before going to the General Advice, what are the factors which normally affect a person from not being able to sleep upto the requirement of the body?


?Physical Illnesses like cold, fever, stomach-ache, other body pains etc.


?Repeatedly thinking about the forthcoming pending works


?The day?s pressurized moments / insults & Stress


?Deficient of mental relaxation


?Frustration & Anxiety


?Being Anemic


?Self-sympathy on having required to do the households as well as official jobs


?Lack of proper ventilation in the room


?In a few cases, the snoring husbands besides?(don?t laugh yeah? do ask a few u would know!)


Well, a proper 7 hours sleep is essential for a normal body for its effective functioning. Although our whole 7 hours are not going to be too sound, definitely a normal person would get 3 to 4 hours of sound sleep especially between 2.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. Now, what could be the results of an improper sleep?


?Losing attentiveness


?Depression


?Lack of quick responding


?Feeling sleepy throughout


?Head-ache


?Disinterested in everything


?Fond of eating more & more


?Complaining of pains


OK now, what is my general advice on sleeping habits which result in keeping you FINE & FIT? Read on?.


?Follow prompt sleeping routine. Go to bed(at any cost) at a specific time


?Just for about 5 minutes(on the bed) perform the neck rotating & leg-stretching exercises which will relax your body


?Always have a comfortable pillow which you feel is best suited to you


?If you?re required to wake up by 5.00 a.m., apart from setting ur alarm, set a mental alarm?. wanna know more? Silently tell yourself(your mind)?I?ve to get up positively at 5 0? clock? at least 5 to 7 times? the next day you would wake up & the time would be 5 0? clock! Yes, the human brain is very capable of carrying out the orders of the sub-conscious mind


?Do not have a red night light in your bedroom which would develop mental disturbances, a light blue would be ideal


?Have some good-looking snaps of your children & yours with your spouse etc. which you feel would be able to cheer you up


?Do not develop any arguments with anyone by the time of going to bed because that would spoil your balanced psychological peace


?Do go for a walk(at least on your terrace) after dinner so that you do not feel too stomach-fullness


?Do loo before going to bed, so that you don?t wake up at odd hours during the night for it


?The main thing is, completely forget the whole day?s unpleasant moments by the time you step into your bed room
