Help! I can’t see!!!

Have you ever driven a car at night on the roads

recently? Or been in a car with someone driving at

night? Now tell me how many of you out there have

experience this.

You are driving nicely. Relaxed and calm. Everything

is fine until this car comes opposite your direction

with headlights glaring to their full capabilities.

And you realize that you can't see a thing. The

glare hits your eye and reflects back to nothingness.

You try to signal to the guy to use the dipper but to

no avail. It comes in full speed with its

super-headlights glaring at you in anger at being

questioned. You relent. You slow down. Let the car

pass you. You wait for a few more moments till the

normalcy in your eyesight returns. You drive more

cautiously.

I dread to think what could have happened when you are

temporarily blinded by that glare and a person walks

in front of your car at that moment. Need I be more

graphic? And the problem is in not only cars, but also in bikes and auto-rickshaws.

Is there a way using glaring headlights in cars be

banned? Is there a way driving can be more pleasurable

at night?
