Travel in China through High speed Train. Review on General Tips on Railways Transport

I am traveling in China for the last 4 years and I would like to give some tips on high-speed train travel in Cina. Generally, High-speed train has the same system in all over the world. But I would say these are the tips specifically for high-speed train travel in China.

The first most problem you will face while entering in China is the language barrier. Generally, people who travel abroad can speak little English. But in China, it's not the case. Chinese people can't speak English. So how will you communicate to buy a train ticket in China?

You can not even use online booking website because that is too in Chinese. So here is the first tip. Download the translator app- Baidu translator, Microsoft translator(You can not use google translator Because it is banned by the government in China) Translate for the ticket you want to buy, station names and the date and time and show it to the railway ticket window. They will understand easily and you just need to provide your passport and he/she will give you the high-speed train ticket for as per your traveling schedule.

For online high-speed train ticket purchase in China, you can use https://ctrip.com website( English app of this site for android and IOS is also available, Download it before you enter to China if you are using android. Because google play store will not work in China). You can use auto translate in Google Chrome or use Us English version of the website. But even though you book the train ticket online you have to go to the railway station with your passport to collect the physical ticket. You can just 1 to 1.5 hr early than your train arrival time because there will be a long queue at the ticket window.

The seats are clean and very comfortable in a high-speed train. Charging ports are available but you have to use your own mobile charger to charge mobile or any other electronic device. Keep the global socket converter. Because here the plug-in sockets are different than in India. The train runs nearly 300 to 350/km per hr sometimes more than that but its very very safe to travel in the china.

During the travel time keep the ticket safe to exit at the destination station.
