Hey Folks,

Well it's me back again after one week with a new fresh review to make you guys aware of 'Obscene Phone Call', coz like me I guess all those who are having landline connection or mobile phone user's are facing this problem and just get annoyed of all such mentally sick people.

Why am writing about this, Guys believe me I got fed up of such sick Obscene Phone Caller's n making my family life miserable,although I had tried all the possible remedies to trace out call's, but the obscene caller or Blank Caller seem's to be more intelligent n advanced than me. And what the funny thing is, I guess caller is not aware of that there are no female member except my mother in my family, we are only 2 bro's, there's nothing seem intresting for blank caller's in my family, according to me or might be m lucky receiving blank calls from Gals!.he.he. but believe me, it's really n very pathetic, upsetting and unpleasant feeling.

Now Let Understand What n Obsence Phone Call is:

An obscene phone call is generally considered to be an unsolicited telephone call that entails sexual or vulgar communication. The unsolicited nature of the call is crucial to the act: sexually explicit calls in which both participants consent and willingly participate are generally not considered to be obscene calls but as phone sex.

Making obscene telephone calls for sexual pleasure is known as telephone scatalogia. It is usually classed as a paraphilia from a medical viewpoint, although from the viewpoint of the recipient of the calls,it is generally considered to be a form of sexual harassment.

Obscene phone calls exploit the potential of the telephone system for real or apparent anonymous communication. It is generally believed that the callers want the attention of their victims, and in some cases are willing to frighten them to get attention.

Although the advent of caller ID has greatly reduced the number of obscene phone calls.

Receiving obscene phone calls is upsetting and unpleasant and many women fear that it will lead to personal contact or attack. Fortunately this seldom happens. However, you should try to avoid and stop unwelcome phone calls.

Generally, recipients of obscene phone calls are advised to simply hang up on obscene callers, and to report the incident to the telephone company and/or the police. Even where caller ID is not available, calls are logged by the telephone company, so the perpetrator's phone number can be discovered.

Here are a few tips and hints to help you take positive action:

Never give or confirm your name and number when a stranger calls. Just say'Hello' listen politely and ring off if you feel uncomfortable. Police confirm that nuisance callers mostly do not bother to find numbers to phone, but often ring a combination of numbers until a woman replies .

If, by chance, the caller returns the call, do not speak to him, but ring off immediately or keep a whistle handy and give him a loud blast!

If the calls continue, try to listen for give-away background noises, music, trains, factory or machinery noises and whether the person is phoning from a cell or regular phone.

Ask family and friends to help by deciding on a code, letting the phone ring three times, hanging up and re-dialing to warn you who is phoning.

If you want your name put in the telephone directory, insist on a surname and initials only or apply for an ex-directory number .

Don't become a victim and don't allow the caller, who is a real coward anyway, to upset your peace of mind and harass you. Speak to your friends and family about the calls and do contact the police if the calls become persistent.
