Guidelines for publishing photographs of people seem to be missing with newspapers.(1) A Dr.Lad(a Doctor, senior citizen) misbehaves, in ineberiated condition, with a female and*also impersonates a police officer.
Has his full face photograph published in mumbai mirror page 1(dated February 12)., (2) One Mr.Lokesh gholap charged by Thane Traffic Police forletting his drunk friend drive has his full face photo(including that of his "drunk friend") in mumbai mirror, page 10(also dated February 12) while(3) in Mumbai Mirror, page 1(datedFebruary 18)
The same mumbai mirror gives us a FULLY COVERED FACE of men from Indian Mujahideen -alleged terrorist outfit and a threat to the nation, arrested and facing trial for terrorising the entirenation. Does it mean that the offence and crime of(1) and(2) are more serious and that the people exposed in(1) and(2) are more dangerous than those of the people in(3).Shame.
A fit case against the newspaper for "defamation"(for publishing full face photos) andfor"concealing, being accompolice to crime, abettment to crime" for hiding the faces of Indian *Mujahideen men.
