When will the Indian Railways realise our need?

Indian railways is one of the hopeless organization once it comes to computerisation. http://www.indianrail.gov.in is one of the most bogus websites I have ever seen.One has to wait for hours to book a ticket on line at 8 to 9 AM.Several times the money is debited to the card but ticket not booked.Money comes back after a week. PNR confirmation is not available before half an hour of departure time.Example 1411176708  at 4.20 PM on 29-0410 while the train departure is at 5PM. The CRIS website never takes the feedback.Always mentions to try later.The ministry of railways website feedback or contact us never opens.The signalling system is age old relay logic.The food one gets in the train is and majority of platforms are below human standards.One never gets a ticket confirmed in advance booking in peak seasons.The toilets are germ breeding stations.


Thus the list goes on and on.They seem to be still in ape age.As long as the monopoly exsists in Indian Railways God only can help this country.2  decades back telecom department had that monopoly and never cared for the customer.Thanks to Shyam Pitroda who changed the fate of this country by releasing the telecom business to the hands of private operators.Otherwise we have been perhaps still doing the rotary dialing with electro-mechanical exchanges.


When will the Railways realize this?
