This is a MTK6235 chip-set Based China Mobile aptly called i9/Sciphone/W003 model and quite readily resembles Iphone in Looks though not exactly, after all money matters! I bought this phone from ebay in Feb 2010 and got a good hands on on this phone. I just thought to pen down some thoughts so that other people may get some help if they are looking to buy the same.
This phone has many features like GPRS, MP3 Player, Java enabled, Radio, MMS enabled, Bluetooth, Polyphonic ringtones, Streaming video, Vibration, USB, Colour Screen etc which are quite common in most of the mobile phones these days. Some of the unique features of this phone is Answering Machine, Wifi, Analog TV, 3.4inch Capacitive touch screen, 32GB Memory support and 2800mAh battery.
In the box packing you get a battery charger cum mobile charger, USB cable and headphone. PCsync software can be downloaded from net. The touch screen is capacitive hence feels better. Its actual 3.4 inch so while watching TV it helps. Also browsing the net becomes easy. Only some of the latest chinese phones have WiFi. The camera is good and takes actual 2MP photos. It has 2 sims operational at same time but if you are in a call in one sim, other goes busy automatically. Answering machine is a good feature hence you don't need to subscribe to voice mail service of service provider.
The menu navigation is easy and the icons are big so that fingure touch is ok. You dont need a sstylus. TV Reception is just ok, really depends how far you are from the nearest tower. FM reception is good and you can save channels. Java platform is supported so you can install most of the .jar applications but .new is not supported. Google map can be loaded through internet. Ebuddy can be configured for chat. You have good game options but all in chinese. Ebook reader is there so some cool features.
You have to be really careful about the IMEI number. Whats printed and tally with*#06# may be an issue and if atall they match, their genuiness may be an issue, operaters may turn it down rendering your phone a brick! Be careful about this issue. I had to take MSAI refuge for this.
