Rejection: The Ultimate Truth

If someone says that they never got rejected then they are probably the world's biggest liar.  I was reading about Einstein the other day, even he wasn't an "Einstein" in school.  The point I am trying to get across is that till you are alive, never take rejection seriously.  Rejection is just a way to show that maybe this is not the right path for you.  Think of the alternatives.  If you don't see any alternatives then "dust yourself off and try again".

I am going to tell you a story about a boy.  Maybe his story will inspire you to take rejection in a positive way.  There was man who had only one son.  He had many dreams for his son.  He also had higher expectations from his son.  The son did not do well in school and ended up failing a lot of his classes.  The son got rejected from a lot of colleges.  Then he somehow managed to get into a college but continued to do poorly in college.  The son was practically broken from inside for letting his father down.

One day, the son tried to suicide by over-dosing on the sleeping pills.  He died.  His father also died from inside after the death of his son.  The father no longer had a son.  Two perfectly good lives ended.

Now, imagine the same situation where the kid didn't suicide.  Instead of giving up to the rejections, he did something that he was more comfortable doing. Maybe he could have started a new business or he could have learned some other useful skill.  He could have lived a life more honorably by working and providing for his family.  Therefore, not everyone is good at every thing but everyone is good at something.  You have to find your thing.

Rejection is Ultimate Truth.  If you are alive, you will get rejected at least once.  The more rational thing to do is to admit your weaknesses and try to improve them.  If you know you can't improve your weaknesses then try to do things that you are more comfortable with.  Rejection is not the End of Life.  Its the First step towards success.
