Tips on cake baking in pressure cooker.

Many people hesitate to make cakes when they do not have oven or tandoors.But baking can also be done in pressure cooker very easily given that you do it in a proper way.Today, I am going to share some important things that must be noted before starting to bake in a pressure cooker.


1.Remove gasket from the pressure cooker.


2.No whistle required to bake the cake.


3.Choose a cooker that is wide enough to hold your cake.Your cake tin must fit inside the pressure cooker without touching the cooker directly on either sides .


4.Do not add water inside the cooker.First of all add some sand or tablesalt at bottom of cooker and let it preheat for sometime before placing the cake tin.


5.Then using a pot holder carefully lift the cake pan and place it inside the cooker on the stand without touching the sides as sides become too hot.


6.Pressure cook without whistle for30-50 min in medium heat until a tooyhpick inserted comes out clean.Then switch off and leave the cake in cooker for more than 5min yhen open.Carefully remove the cake pan from cooker and place it on a wet cloth for five minutes.Then insert the cake tin to demould the cake easily.
