Since this concept has stepped in the web world is buzzing with millions of bloggers who were looking for some platform to float their ideas and share their opinion and views in variety of categories. In the initial stages blogging was only a platform to share thoughts until now when Blogging could be your career option.
When I began blogging it was only a platform for me to put forward my views to a wide audience base. Then I began sharing the blog more often. Then I visited several other writers blog to give it some more perspective. Turns out it could become your career aspiration. However if you want to make blogging your career choice you would have to be a real time entrepreneur as when you would begin you would be a tiny drop in the ocean.
Focus should be to choose wisely on what you want to blog about. Whether you want to Market yourself, your views or knowledge about a product or want the blog to be a social one. For personal bloggers it really is not an issue as you want to maintain it within a trusted circle. However this is an ideal career choice for those who have a penchant towards writing and are addicted to web world. For those who want a 9 to 5 job it is not the best platform to showcase your talent.
Blogging in itself could be addictive however to get Monetary benefits out of it one really has to market it in an out of the box method. First of all getting traffic to your blog is a task for which of course you would have to put right ads in right places. From sponsored tweets to affiliates, adsense .
Paid reviews and paid texted links are one way to increase more traffic and add some more in your kitty.If you're good with it and can market it well, it is a source of good passive income if not totally making you an independent entrepreneur.
There are many thoughts that are bound to come across like how much financial benefits could it give or could you be a personal blogger and still make it or need to turn in to professional blogger.
Also, if your think tank runs out of thoughts and there is nothing beyond a point you could do in the blog what would happen.
Well, for me it is only the start and am yet to find answers to my questions whether I could make it a career choice or not, however there is no harm in trying.
Remember one has to take risks to be an entrepreneur.
