Castrol Bike Zone If You Love Your Bike, Go For it

I would like to share my experience with Castrol Bike Zone.I know this is a subjective matter as the experience of one CBZ might be different from the other one. I am talking about the one in Ghaziabad city Nehru Nagar.

At around 12 in the noon I entered the CBZ, a gentleman greeted me. I have never seen such a professionally humble person for a two wheeler service center. I was discussing about my bike and find a mechanic is driving out with my bike. A bit surprised I am. Just after five minutes he is back. I am surprised to note that he reported all the same problems which are being informed by me. He definitely knows a Pulsar very well.

Exterior and Interior:

The exterior of the CBZ is very neat and clean. No mess as in a bajaj pro-biking service center. Before this I always take my bike to the bajaj pro-biking service center, but they actually are not so tidy. Even the CBZ has their own lawn in front of the service area which is a welcome change for your eyes. The service area is also very clean and organized.

There is a waiting lounge for the customers which is air-conditioned. The working area is clearly visible as it is partitioned with a huge glass window, so you can see the vehicle’s progress.

Staff:

The courtesy of the staff is to be noted. Even the mechanic is nicely trained in not only for the bike but also how to treat the customer.I noted that when the service supervisor and the mechanic are discussing about the service parts none of them tried to replace unnecessary parts(which is a general trend in a bajaj pro-biking service center). I think all the mechanics are well trained.

I am allowed to stand near my bike for close inspection of the job and I am not once asked to be in the waiting lounge. This is called real transparency(I am never allowed to stand near my bike in bajaj).

Service Quality:

Now this is the most important part. Would you believe that they have given at least 9 man working hours?(Two people for about 3.5 hrs and one for 2.5 hrs). Bajaj has never given more than 2 man working hours for my bike. They are having all the facilities for the service. They are having many service options, I selected the gold service pack for 355/-. I can say that they justify the charge. They have done a lot of checks on my bike. I am allowed to participate in it. One thing I want to note here that I am not required to tell even a small issue like tighten of the rear view mirror. As they find any small issue they rectify it then and their only(again a welcome change from bajaj).

Post service:

After the service is done first the mechanic took a test drive, then the service supervisor took and then the owner of the franchisee also took a test ride. This is the level of personal treatment given on each bike. The owner of the franchisee is always on the shop floor and constantly checks the service quality of each bike. The supervisor and the owner suggested some further work and only after then my bike is delivered. Even the owner checks the polishing work. He takes a very intensive view of my bike and suggested the polishing boy to what to do. The total bill is 600 bucks which I am happy to give after seeing the treatment they gave to my bike.

Should I suggest it for you? A BIG YESSSSSS. My bike is now as good as new. If you love your bike then don’t ignore it(I have already said that the quality of CBZ may differ from each center but I expect that their quality control should be good in general). Even I want to have such a nice care center for my cars.

Thanks for taking your time to read it.
