I am not a bike expert but a mad dare devil on bikes, in a way:-
I try to do stunts on bikes which r succesful, and mostly not.
had quite a no. of accidents on diff. bikes(inc. of frnds too) bczz of shortcomings of those bikes.
here is my opinion on diff. bike segments:-
LOW COST SEGMENT: here go in for a bike , which gives good mileage and its quality and reliability assured. my preference is SPLENDOR. reason being, ...all know why its successfull.there r bikes , which r much cheaper than this one, but then quality suffers.
MID SEGMENT: ppl who go in for this segment r those who need a product having power compromising mileage and vice versa. my preferences r:-
4 good mileage and style: PASSION
4 mediocre mileage with refined power: TVS FIERO(preff F2)
4 colage graduates deficient of bit more budget(parents nahi mante): BAJAJ PULSAR 150 DTSI(nice bike with av mileage, and good power;13.5bhps not bad), even UNICORN is not a bad choice.
4 executive segments: BAJAJ PULSAR 180 DTSI; I know there is one more devil out there in this segment i.e, KARIZMA, but the reason r as follows:-
1.pulsar 180 power(set aside rpm)16.5bhp, karizma 16.8 bhp
- 180 is 10000 bucks cheaper
3.karizma has no leg guards
4.karizma is more heavy makin it compromise with its pickup
- frankly a bike of approx 225cc is supposed to produce more power thn just a mere 17bhp.wait for some more time for launch of newer devils, my point will be proven.
rest do comment on this review and gimme feedback so tht I cn correct myself, my ratings r based on mass public opinion with whom I interact and my experience(have not inc. cruiser bikes of Royal Enfield bczzz I have no worth exp. bout it, they r good, all 346 cc all producing 18bhp(rpm I don remember), 500cc segment not experienced it, these(bullets) r made for ppl who don believe in plastic fiber toys :-), but thn worlds best racing bikes r made of it, they have a some wht diff taste).
