As long as US insists on fighting a ''War against Terror'' it can never win.
First of all let us examine the word terrorist i.e. someone who creates terror, by use or threatened use of force or violence. Basically what people are terrified is the unknown, who does these things, where and when will they strike next. This is what terrorist use to play on a persons psyche, making life a living hell.
If we were to actually see the people behind this terror, there is very little chance of anyone feeling any terror all. Try and think about it, why would anyone be afraid of a pathetic desperate person who has nothing worth living for in life and seeks revenge on the world in any way, even to the extent of losing their own lives. At the most we would feel pity for such people.
This is the emotion we need to use to try and fight terrorism, pity not anger. The only way to stop people from turning into terrorist is by giving them something to live for, not another reason to die, which is what a war against Afghanistan will lead to. More poverty, more anger and more hatred and alot more terrorist.
One would ask then, should we show pity towards, Bin Ladin, a person who supposedly has millions of dollars and has everything to live for and yet is the cause of all this mayhem, what we forget is, it isn't Bin Ladin who killed himself flying those planes into the building, he too needed those desperate souls to do his dirty work and he capitalised on their miserable conditions to brainwash them into thinking US was responsible for all their misery. That is the kind of person that should be executed without a second thought, who lives off the poverty of others to cause more suffering in the world but does nothing to improve their lives.
What US needs to do now do is give Aid rather than war to the afghans, further if pakistan asks for 30 billion dollars in return for Bin Ladin, give them 60 billion but make sure it goes to those who need it most to make their lives worth living and not to line the pockets of b*stard politicians who are worth nothing. No one bites the hand that feeds it......
