I came to know about Mouth shut from the back of a rickshaw. I saw a small sticker saying https://mouthshut.com. The name made me so inqusitive. I checked out the site immediately and ofcourse ended up registering.
This is the only site I have seen of this kind in this part of the world.
But all said and done I didnt write a review for a long time. Inertia problem and in this world wide web keeping ones interest on one subject is tough.
After a few moths and a few mails from the mouth shut team I went back to the site read few reviews and left it.
Then came this mail from the CEO. That was very nice and frank one-to-one mail which said they are stopping payments for reviews. This mail inspired me and I went back to the site and I wrote my first review. Can u beat it! I actually wrote after they stopped paying.;-)
Then I got some comments. then some read my reviews. then I wrote a few more. now again hibernation . but will come back with a bang.
One thing I found lacking in the home page of this site is the pull to explore. If I am looking for something specific then fine. Otherwise I see only 5 reviews plus one review of the day. thats not enough. Like we have reviews wanted have a page with with more reviews. Last 10-20.
And also cross navigation will be helpful. while reading one review we can have a different opinion on same product clcik here or related product review click here. etc.
thats a lot of words. now my hands are tired typing let me open my mouth .
