I guess everyone reading this review might be shell shocked that how can someone start his first review with Mouthshout being the topic their are loads of reason behind this during the course of my review you would all come to know.
All the mouthshout patriots don't need to panic and look for a reason to fight with me because I am going to have lot of points which might hurt the patriots who have been given excellent treatment by the MS admin.
Before everyone again jumps to a conclusion as to how come, I know so many things about MS as this being my first review. If you look at my profile, I have mentioned that I am a silent observer and have been going through MS website for last couple of months reading reviews and comments of members as
reading is a passion for me it took lot of time and a frustrating trend of
seeing this excellent website being turned into a virtual chat room and forum.
Consumer Rules
I always had this frustration as a consumer that when I dislike
something their should have been a plat form where I could just go and burst
myself and take the venom out but 10years back we didn't have anything like
that but internet has changed the way we have started living our life.
Mouthshut is just one such platform which gives a common man a platform to
appreciate and criticize things. Everything is so perfect about this website
then what can be wrong that in the initial para, I have written that I am going
to talk about MS.
Everyone talks when something is good but seldom in a country like India we have
ever taken the initiative and pointing the sword at someone who has done wrong
or who is doing wrong.
a. Golmaal Golmaal Everything gonna's be Golmaal
This is the most debatable topic on MS because MS itself is not following the
guidelines of plagiarism and duplication. We all know that if someone says
something bad people usually get attracted hence MS has created icon by the
name of Amrita who rarely has got something good to say. Remember anyone
talking bad about something which is very popular would attract attention and
MS wanted such an icon and they have got in her. We all know its a MS creation
and if star writer has to be active on MS why is she not active, she wakes up
only once in 6months picks up a brand which is famous and batters them with
unnecessary criticism . For someone to be a star writer should have written at
least 50reviews but you can see amrita's number and you would be sure that its
not the case. So how can she be called a star writer? MS Do you have an answer
or the fake amrita would rise up now and give an answer? Lets wait and watch?
Their are some very good writers who are regular still not given the star
status.
b. Who let the D. Out
Their is kind of gangism in place in MS because only some set of gangs rate and
comment reviews. These set of groups have an habit of rating a bad review by
going ga ga over it just because he or she is in the trust list or had a coffee
with him or is their friend. Is this a blog or forum or a Consumer review
website? Their has been some genuine reviews written by some very good
writers and how many people rate them 4 or 5. It has become just like you lick
mine, I would do the same for you. Should Mouthshut be blamed no, it should not
because they want more and more people to come their website and if they tell
anything to these set of group then of course they loose a major chunk of
members because they have hurt their feelings. Its the people who are in this
group should rate and comment other people's review too. I know that the number
of people reading and rating this review is going to be minimal because I am
pointing fingers on the same people who would be in groups.
c. Bridget Jones diary
Why a bridget jones diary? Simple because on the comment section you would
members talking to themselves about their morning tea, their evening
breakfast, when they went to loo or when they are going to sh*t. For god sake
here people come to read review and to see you commenting on the review not on
which color undergarments you are wearing.
If we really want this to be a good consumer review lot of initiative has to be
taken by both Mouthshut team and members. We all know that nothing is perfect
but then we can always take the first step in improving. The team behind
Mouthshut have started a good idea and if things work fine can be a good money
making initiative for Faisal as slowly and steadily can be a Brand in
itself but he would be ruining it by using Gimmicks like Amrita to take the
site ahead. Because I have seen some old reviews of some old members who no
longer write here, I guess Amrita character is the root cause of loosing lot
of members, Faisal should realize this soon he can't run this website with one
or a group of members he needs a ocean of people to come and make this move
ahead.
These are my general thoughts on Mouthshut. Though I have started my review
writing with MS being the topic of discussion, I would now write and read more
and more reviews of course comment them where ever necessary.
