Talking about euphemisms... . Review on General Thoughts About MouthShut

There is just not one thing you can say about Mouthshut. There are many many many commentaries possible. Right from some about reviews about the people who write reviews, the quality of the reviews, a critique on the administration, *the rules and regulations,to the **kind of people who read the reviews and the kind of comments to those reviews.

I have tried to put it all together in one small package which you can chew upon and spit out at your convenience. Most of the reviews I am talking about below are about movies because I never come to this website for anything else.

Mouthshut is an ?Alaipayudhe? kind of website. It is unique and has absolutely great content. I think I have learnt everything I know from this website including than the fact that I cannot write.

It would not be unfair to compare the content with Mani Ratnam?s contents because not only does this website have presentation value but it has enough unique characters that you just cannot see around in your ?real life? just like in any Mani Ratnam movie. Take for example, *svjayalakshmi, * the very likeable lady who has very recently discovered that MS-Word has a?thesaurus option.

These are the most serious and intelligent people whom you don?t see you near your home or office. Basically very rare people who make you are glad that they are still around. You always have to wonder, ?Is this person real??about EVERYONE. The reviews are so straight form the heart and uniquely intelligent which so contrary to the banal world you live in.

Secondly, as the tagline says, this is a consumer oriented website. This is an amazing website where you can increase your ?writing skills? as some of these ?star writers? *here *( Statement: **It great that they have a ?star writer? and encourage people to read that person's reviews). *The members in this website are amazingly qualified writers. Almost all of them are in the *?learning stage? *or *?already learnt? *veteran stage but are still open to new ideas like a dry sponge to water.

I will give you an example. All of the reviews of movies give you the most amazing insight into the movie and have something unique to offer in terms of perspective. All of the reviews can really make you think. This is one website where you can read 1000 unique and though provoking reviews of the movie Swadeswith no overlap of ideas.

Well if the reviewers are be lauded, the products being reviewed are even more intelligent, *and even if some of them are not, it is made entertaining by thesharp criticism and wit **in the reviews. What I am trying to say is that there is never a dull review about anything on this website. (The commentary being right or wrong is secondary).

People in this website are concerned more about the quality rather than quantity.There are some reviews are NOT utter nonsense, but have very incisive and concise commentary in about 7999 words.These reviews are hence rated very highly and read 8954398 times.

This website is mainly populated by reviews that say ?Shah Rukh Khan did an amazing job in Swades? , and goes so much into important details like the colour of the T shirt worn by him. The guys who rate such reviews highly are the unique Indians who are in love with all long words and different ideas.

Ok enough lauding. I will not add any more. But those were genuine praises. The thing I like don?t about this website is the censorship.There are different kinds of censorship here, *Words, Content, Photo, People, some of whom are flagged, some are warned, and some others are ?erased?. Here are some of my experiences on this website.

I have never had any of my reviews removed from this website because all of them catered to the populace since I write very euphemistic and unctuous reviews about everything I see. Why would anyone here have the time and the sense of humour to wonder about the homosexual characteristics of Archie and Juggy when they can appreciate the ?marvelous? job done by SRK in about 7999 words? These are the kind of reviews that this website requires and yearns for.

I have never had a million photos removed from my profile page a million times because ?they? did not believe I am a master at disguise.

I have never had my comments removed because I was always sweet and patient even when the person in all his sincerity could make blatant pardonable errors.

I have never had some guys writing me hate mail because they thought I was trying to rabble rouse. I will always like the censorship and the concern because it keeps this website within limits. To maintain it?s uniqueness.

It is much better to be the BEST and ONLY website that is NOT administered by your diabetic great aunt who had been a principal/warden of a girls? college/hostel for a few hundred years rather than be one of the million other websites with content filters that NEVER promote some real creativity.

?On the whole? this website has reviews that are NOT the kind of unctuous, politically correct versions of what I would like to read about anything. Hence I always read reviews here. I also write. I always rate reviews because I think I am good enough to rate another person?s work.
