Interestingly, the overall ratings that mouthshut assigns to Eureka Forbes products have no relation to what users have said. Time and time again I have seen users giving horrible product ratings, and writing comments that show how bad the product and/or service is. But mouthshut will show two key statistics, "mouthshut product ratings" and "recommended by xx% mouthshut members" highly inflated, i.e. in favour of the product.
This is an very important point. How many times when doing research on a product does one actually read all the comments and get a feel of what users are saying? One would just go by the two main overall statistics and make a decision. These are very powerful statistics, and if they do not in any way represent what people have said, then MS is tricking consumers!
