Direct from the heart. Review on General Thoughts About MouthShut

I bumped against mouthshut.com when I was searching for something on google and found somebody’s review. I can’t remember what I was looking for OR who had written the review. But as I browsed through the site I got more and more interested. I went through atleast 20 reviews that day and was really impressed by the number of topics that were

available. And more than that, the actual number of reviews that people had written here, taking time from their lives.

I had to register, I wanted a piece of the action.

The first review I wrote was for my bike, the Suzuki Samurai. It was not the greatest of reviews, I admit. Hey, I was new to writing reviews ok, so stop laughing.

Immediately I started getting mails whenever people read it. And when people rated or commented on my review. I was really impressed. The next day I wrote 3 more reviews. I knew by the end of that day that I was addicted to this.

I really like the features on this site, awesome. You can write reviews, rate, comment, recommend products, trust, distrust ...

Today I was going through the ’’Community Center’’ link and SURPRISE OF SURPRISES My name was among the 5 best debut members. The best part is that nobody had actually selected me. I was selected purely on merit by the automatic system that is in place.

I really like to be appreciated you know. I loaded my photo on this site ASAP.

I decided to write this review for mouthshut as a token of my appreciation. Great job, whoever designed this. I don’t think I could have done a better job myself. Infact I can’t think of any extra features that you could add to this site. Its too perfect.

Hey CEO of mouthshut, give the guy who designed this site a raise, I think the person really deserves one.

I don’t want to elaborate on the features, I am just writing my personal experience. But I would just like to say that I like the idea of community center.

Hall of Fame, Best Debut , Hot Reviews, Member Flagged, Mouth Sealed are all great features and very essential to hold the interest of the people and to encourage them to write more .

I especially like to keep checking how many MS-points I have accumulated.

Did you know that as soon as you write a review, it appears immediately on the Home page of mouthshut, on top of the list of recent reviews ? It is these small things that makes mouthshut.com such a nice site.

I have written 6 reviews(including this one) until today (3-sep-04). I don’t think I will ever stop writing reviews. One day I would like to be like some of the veterans here with 100 or more really helpful and great reviews.

Mouthshut has become one of those sites that I open every time I am on the net.
