Look around yourself..... do you seriously think people are happy?? Is it a written law that if someone is 'mast' or 'bindaas' etc and can make u laugh..... he/she is a happy person?? I dont think I agree. If a person can sit and ask the question,''Why do I exist?''.... he should come a step closer to find happiness. Ask urself....... a table exists for some reasons, a pen exists for writing, a gun exists for killing, a lion exist cause it can complete the food chain, the sun exists cause it gives light in the day and the moon - cause it gives light at night..... every form of existence has a meaning and a purpose....... but why do humans exist?? Have u ever thought of that?? I have and I find it hard to get an answer. What purpose do humans serve?? Why has God made us??
Your aim in life is what your heart desires..... if it desires to be a doctor..... you WILL. If it desires to be a painter........ you will. If it desires to be a better human... you will. Your aim in life gives the answers to questions like ..... ''What should I Do, I dont know WHAT to do??''. Thoughts lead to action. And action is governed by your values which in turn is governed by your mind. One can achieve success if he can achieve his full moral values. And if he can climb the top of the mountain and see whats on top, rather than stay at the bottom and WONDER whats at the top. Achievment comes with the use of ability. And THAT comes with the use of your intellect.
In the corporate world.... in fact in todays world.... it is taught that one should know People Management. ''Soft Skills'' is the other word for it. One should live like a parasite, trying to survive by living on the efforts of another or on the favours of others. They say that if you can manipulate a human..... you'll make a GREAT businessman. People chant about society, and democracy and secularism and how important civilization is. They want everyone to behave in a particular way cause SOCIETY demands it and that man is a social animal. But thats where they make a mistake.... cause being social and being an animal are poles apart. They expect others to sacrifice for the benefit of the whole..... and yet you see more selfish people around u who can use ANYone to serve their own purpose. Everyone is after everyone to get one thing done or another. People are busy using their 'minds' and their 'skills' plotting against fellow men. They have put the idiom,''Suvival of the Fittest'', as the prime value of their own existence. But they live like leeches.... thriving on the blood of others. They talk of brotherhood and unity of man in every regards, and then they applaude themselves to have said such a sentimental speech and that they hold talent in cheating man of his own vision and of his own mind. Do u know WHEN everything written above becomes the opposite and becomes good?? Its when you do everything for everybody but hold no expectation from anybody.
Do u see why people are not happy?? They have failed to have that vision. They would surely talk about it but they dont believe in what they say and the worst part is, they wont even deny that they dont believe in what they say. They live a fake life in an unreal world. They fail to understand that it is not through others that they must attain nirvana, but through themselves. They are non-existent till the day they realize that they are non-existent and then there is no turning back. They see the world around them as the ONLY realm of existence, and they go to any means to acheive it......failing to understand they even if they DID acheive it, it would serve them no purpose simply cause they did not deserve it. They weigh themselves in gold and silver and any other materialistic things that holds their fancy. They pull a facade to hide their true selves with no known reason............ they PRETEND. To live and love life, you must be able to understand the beauty of it. Similarly, to live and love someone, you must be able to understand the beauty of that person. To those people, loving ANYTHING is torture, cause they love expecting returns from their 'investment'. but love is a sacrifice.
I read somewhere once that if you achieve what u want in life......that is NOT sacrifice, but if you go against your desires and get an inferior substitute ..... it is. If you exchange 50p for a rupee coin, it is NOT sacrifice..... but if you exchange a rupee coin for 50p.... it is. If you give money to a friend in need.... it is NOT sacrifice..... but if you give it to a beggar.. it is. And similarly, if you love someone and get love in return.... it is NOT sacrifice.... but if you love without expectation and knowing that no future exists........................... it is.
It takes time for man to experience self-realization. But for a few it comes early. For others they dont want it to come early. They dont want to think. They are those who say,''take every day as it comes...... live life to the fullest''. Its not bad to live in the present. But it's worst to live in the past. Let the past AND your present determine what you would do tomorrow. Let your mind widen the parameter from where you see life. Let it question existence and everything that exist. You would be surprised how naive you were. I have always said,''Thoughts bring wisdom...... and wisdom changes your thoughts''. Its a never ending cycle ONCE begun. And it ALWAYS begins with the question..................................''WHY??''.
Why do you pretend?? Why do you exist?? Why....................................
