Make Up ( What ever it mean)

I have often wondered why is it that men often praise themselves for having not used any cream or lotion  which can benefit them in many ways. It may be due to arrogance or to show themselves as true examples of  masculinity. But the real reason, I feel, could be either his masculinity has already been tested and knowing the truth there is nothing cosmetic combination can help or it is better to meet the demand rather than add to it.

In my younger days I often used to see Remy or Cuticura talcum powders with one or two nail enamels, mostly Dark red shades, and  a bottle of lacto calamine  on the dressing tables. Today there are so many brands and so many lotions which promise you to make as fair and lovely  as to be the neighbour’s envy. They protect you from all natural burns while leaving behind there own scars. Though I am an  ardent fan of the adage  *Natural is Beautiful *I also get enthralled when I see a plain jane get converted as a sophy janet.

It is often mentioned everywhere that  most of the creams, lotions, talcs which are used contain carcinogenic material which are health hazardous, yes it may be true in parts but it is better to look at these  things as a part of  our evolution hazard rather than to magnify things and look into the negative aspects only. Initially I had no inclination what it meant SPF  or base cream(!), I just  couldn’t differentiate the shades between Dark Purple and Purple or Iced Coffe and Chocolate . I have to thank my daughter for having enlightened me about these aspects.

One fine day my daughter gave me a colourful AVON brochure  which showed many creams and lotions, Lipsticks( I am confused why they call it like that, is the lip sticking out or you  get a stick if you go near the lip) in innumerable shades and range packs and an equal number of nail enamel shades to go with( I never knew I was colour blind till that day). The brochure also showed pictures of ice cool, sirf cool talcs, perfumes in various shaped bottles. She asked me to give it to some of my colleagues  who could be interested in making themselves more presentable to there better or worse halves, as the case may be. Many of my colleagues, both genders included, marked there requirement and asked me to get it for them. Since then I have become proficient in identifying all the shades and colours just by looking at the coloured lips(!) and have become colour rich.

Yes, Now coming to the main point  I feel that it is always to better to have a tinge of make up look rather than  a over made look. For this artificially natural look it is  better to  have a face  pack  first, we need not buy expensive packs from the market just put equal quantity of cucumber juice, apple juice, 2 spoon honey and orange peel powder  make into a paste and preserve in fridge and use it at least once a fortnight.  It is also beneficial to use multanni mitti as a face pack. Use of besan flour helps in retaining the natural glowness of the skin.  Using sun screen lotions  specially in those parts which are exposed to sunlight really helps like wise cold creams during winter.

Hey guys, the above package is unisex as such there is no need to  shy away from using  it. Looking good always helps in breaking barriers, so be it have a blast.
