I have a bajaj pulsar for last 4 years purchased from ashwamegh auto. Ashwamegh auto has rendered me a wonderful service for my pulsar. But i'm sorry to say that is not the case now. Suddenly one fine day I found Ashwamegh auto closed down (satara rd) and a new Gems bajaj showroom and service centre opened upon satara road.
I thought it might be a replacement for the closed down Ashwamegh. But let me tell you the service and quality of Gems auto is no where near Ashwamegh's. My experiences have been horrible with gems. Its as if they have been told by their bosses that for every vehicle they have to loot the customers as much as they possibly can.
For each servicinf they tell you to change some part or component of the vehicle even if its nice and working causing you to pay ur servicing bills in 900 to 1000 range. And one day they surprised me!! I had my disc brakes disc pads changed from them and after 4 months at the next servicing the person making the job card told me that the disc pads are totally worn out and needed to be replaced. You have no idea how enraged I was at that time.
I went home and I got the last servicing bill and showed the disc pads in the bill to that person. Then as usual he said " ok i'll have to check them and will call you ( which they never do). I'm sorry to say but bajaj auto seems to have forgotten about the service rendering part of its two wheeler campaign. with increasing sales of pulsars and other bikes it has started ignoring the after sales services.
I feel the service centers need to be monitored and appeal to the customers to pay minute attention to the servicing persons at the centers and enquire bout each and every detail of the servicing to avoid being exploited. More coming up bout another sevrice center.. in next review.. more interesting..
