Gati courier is perhaps the worst courier service on plane earth. They are not just unprofessional but also pathological liars. I booked a few furniture worth around 50k with Gati Courier and got the furniture in pieces. If you take a look at the breakage, you will understand that it was broken on purpose. There was Sofa in the package which was ripped apart.
Every joint broken and everything else in a terrible state. I called up their customer service numerous times complaining about the same but their reply was absolutely gut wrenching. Their response to my complaint was such things may happen during transport and it is none of our problem. After much complaints, they sent someone over to inspect the loss so that they could reimburse a certain portion of the entire damage. The "Old Man" who came to my place was the pathological liar I referred to in the first line. At first he was sympathetic with our loss and said that it happened by mistake. Finally he handed me a piece of paper that had the his "Investigation Report".
After one month they sent a much awaited reimbursement quotation which had the magic figure of Rs.5600 only for a damage of over 50k. Finally, after fighting over it I decided to let it go. Let the beggar company buy its Employees some sweets with my money. This is a request to all to never go to gati to courier any of your things otherwise you will be doomed.
