I am 36 years male and have curly hair, after 2 years of marriage i.e. at the age of 30, I started loosing hair and at many places my hair were turning gray. ( for obvious reasons ).

I was quick enough to prove the point to my wife but then she proved me wrong.

Till 28 years of my life I had never ever used any kind of oil. I used to hate the coconut oil smell and then riding motorcycle in Mumbai city was not helping my hair either. So finally my wife stepped in for rescue.

She is a hair care fanatic, but doesn’t believe in all the cosmetic products. ( they are full of chemicals ). She even prepares her own hair massage oil. Coconut oil is the base but I dunno the other ingredients, definitely hibiscus is one of them as it is me who has to raid the neighbor’s garden for the flowers. But with help of regular coconut oil massage I could save grace.

Anyway… 4 years back I shifted to Dubai for job and my problems were back, due to salinity in water; I started loosing hair rapidly and also my hair became dull and damaged. I could not use any shampoo, so I stopped using soap on my hair. My hair were dull, lack luster and used get puffed up. I started cutting my hair close to skin and could no longer sport long hair. My whole look changed but I was helpless. I tried many shampoos with conditioner, Indian and imported alike. Even regular oil massages did not help much.

Then one day my hair dresser told me not to use shampoo but to try conditioners only. It was with bit of skepticism I went to the cosmetics shop. Asked for a good hair conditioner and the vendor gave me “ Garnier Fructis” he highly recommended it.

It comes in a attractive green bottle. Is thick and easy to apply, has nice smell. And also washes off without much fuss.

I used it and ….…… I could feel the difference on day one but I just brushed it off..

But believe me after use for nearly a month. Now my hair feel smooth silky and they are more manageable. As I have curly and fussy hair I always envied people with long straight hair. But with fructis I think my long wish is going to come true. I am now growing my hair long, may be I will straighten them too..

Really….. thanks to this conditioner now after years I am trying to grow my hair to neck length.

Forget the length, its so great to feel when I move my fingers through them.

Now that I have said that it’s a great product. I have still some questions, if some one can answer them…

It is written on the conditioner bottle that to be applied and left for 1-2 minutes and then rinse off. Why??? What happens if I leave it for more than, that?

My wife also tells me not to use it every day, she is not able to explain why? Can someone tell me why is that????….
