Nutrisse garnier is a fairly new brand maybe only a year or so old. They come in that unmistakable bright light green bottles with the little odd blue ball shaped flip top lid. I do not like the lid, its interesting but I have found it hard to open at times.
The shampoos and conditioners retail for around $3.00 - $4.00 in most of the stores in my area. They are pretty much mid range when it comes to price.
The fortifying shampoo and the volumizing shampoo have the exact same ingredient list so (if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...)
I really do like the fortifying shampoo. It is a pearly white color that smells like fresh green apples. It is not overly fruity- just fresh and pleasing. The shampoo may be a little thin but its not runny.
The shampoo lathers very well and rinses clean. It leaves my hair shiny and full of body.
This is a gentle shampoo as it uses sodium laureth sulfate as it's main cleansing agent. It also contains some silicones so a weekly clarifier should be alternated with this as it will build up over time (however most shampoos and conditoners do build up anyway so with anything you use contiously you need a weekly clarifier)
Unfortunately, I don't purchase this because I don't like the matching conditioner- it just doesn't condition enough. Of course I could pair this shampoo with any other good conditioner and get good results but I tend to like a matching ''set'' to keep my life simple.
This shampoo would work well for all hair types- just be prepared to purchase a different conditioner if you have dry or damaged hair.
