When I visited Garden city college, I have observed there are no dining tables and nochairs in the mess. I found only long leg tables where casually found in Caffterias. In Caffteria of college I found dining tables and chairs. But not in college mess.
Students of different fields like management, science, mass communications, they regularly practice their skills such as science experiments, giving, seminars, practicals in hotel management. They need to stand when the educator explaining something in the laboratories, classrooms.
All take minimum 1 to 2 hours in college hours. Woman physically tire with physical activities such as often changing classrooms, Trips to Hostel and college, at least 8 to 10 times in a day.
Lift may be in service many times. All these not taken into consideration? The need of Tables and chairs in dininng hall is necessary where they get relax and refresh with communication in group by sitting and taking breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
It is a college of all advanced management with super Human Resources. Many occasions, programmes conducting for the support of woman empowerment in Gardenia. The main objective of dining hall without dining tables and chairs may be glamourised the institute but not satisfy student side health point of view. Psychologically students connect each other of the same age.
They share and relax while sparing time in the mess. Most of the students are found moody, uneasy, dissatisfaction in the campus. They are wandering with modern dresses and with high heal shoes like in Fashionshow. But the satisfaction in studies is not found in their faces. We all know that face is index of mind. May be the lack of support of management in all round development of themselves. Don't think, causes are from my child side.
Educational values can not be inserted in the minds of educands with the fashion mode. There are many areas students expect from college such as Dining area. How can identify that the students are satisfying with the present system of Dining. Why don't you bring changes for the development of Dining hall system. I frankly saying that no college is practicing such method of dining hall without dining tables and sitting chairs in Bangalore city. Students found not comfort with illness by standing and taking food. This is not reward. This is absolutely punishment for the woman. Better to take many changes not in beautification of campus but in the students health and happiness point of you. Remember that International students as well as national students basically woman. We, the educators should respect their enrolment in our institution. Stand and Eat make a negative impulse on the national of different countries on our Nation that is INDIA.
We must keep the needs and wants of girl child, a stage where the educational institution has to support in all aspects to motivate as empowered women.
