I admit, this is not the best movie I've ever seen, but as a lazy Sunday afternoon option when you need a good pick me up, Garam Masala is an excellent choice.

The two lead actors (Akshay Kumar and John Abraham) play two fashion photographers on the beautiful island of Mauritius, who as it seems are far better at chasing skirts than their profession. In fact, Mac (Kumar) is so sure he's God's gift that he chasing many girls while at the same time he has a beautiful fiancee, Anjali (Rimmi Sen) who he almost completely ignores. When he does see her, he's busy some story or the other to cover his philandering ways. His friend, Babban (Rajpal Yadav - this guy's a complete laugh) has to help him cover his cheating behind.

Sam (Abraham) is Mac's assistant who envies his way with the ladies, but is no slouch in that department himself. He wins the affections of Maggi (Neha Dhupia) hands down over Mac who treats Sam badly. Sam's gets his revenge when he wins an international award, which garners the magazine they work for international exposure and their boss makes Sam the senior photographer leaving Mac as his assistant. Obviously Sam cheated, but that's of little consequence.

As part of his prize, Sam gets a trip to America. Naturally, Mac's ego is bruised. then his boss comes up with an idea that will take his mind off the fact that he is now Sam's junior.

Before you know it, Mac is doing what he does best - wooing women - this time he's entertaining three lovely air hostesses in a luxury apartment. In no time, Mac has Pooja (Nargis), Sweety (Nitu) and Deepti (Daisy) eating out of his palm and all three become his fiancee. The arrangement is held together with the help of Babban and Mambo (Paresh Rawal), the irritable cook who spits fire at almost anyone.

Things work out well until changing flight tables and the arrival of Sam come up. As can be expected, things get hectic. Oh yes, Sam and one of the ladies fall in love...

Anyway, it's good clean fun. Everybody's performance are good except the three air hostesses. All they have to do is look good, but nevertheless, I liked it.

The music - I loved it especially Ada, Chori, Dil Samander. The Mauritian setting is breathtaking.
