Ganapati pule is the ultimate place if you wish to just relax and enjoy seashore . From nivali phata near ratnagiri on mumbai goa highway one has to travel 32 kms to reach ganapati pule dont think anything else otherthan mtdc resort as this is on beach and just next to temple. Although heavily advertised abhishek beach resort and landmark are not on beach and are fooling public. In any case when mtdc was full not a single guest was seen at abhishek and landmark in spite of stiff 3000 rs and above rates
In any case if with family dont think anything beyong mtdc although rooms are poorly maintained. Mood is just elevates with early morining pooja at mandir which opens at 5 am and goes on up to noon. If you wish you can pay rs 650/350/151 and be present next day morning between 5 to 11 in. Next to ganesha (ladies must wear plain saree and gents pancha and enter mandir only after bath )
You may enjoy food in evening at durvankur or at bhau joshi hotels at main road next to mtdc
Also enjoy superb nariyal pani at enterence of mandir for 20 /-
