Beware of Ganpati Packers and Movers (Rattan Singh. Review on Ganpati Packers and Movers

Hello Folks,

I had given Ganpati Packers and movers the responsibility to move my stuff from Gurgaon to Bangalore and Nagpur.

Bangalore stuff was my entire household items where as for Nagpur I had  requested one trunk and one carton containing items for ailing parents  in Nagpur.

Ganpati packers and movers very untidily packed my stuff for Bangalore  on 18th July 2011 and took the Nagpur consignment to transport the same  day. However till date(19th September) the goods are still at some  unknown location and not reached the destination.

I have had horrific experience dealing and following up with their  employees, primarily Mr. Rattan Singh(9999889474) who is the point of  contact from Ganpati Packers and movers for this movement. First of all  he does not answer his phone and when he does and asked for status there  is a standard reply that the stuff is in Nagpur will be delivered at  2:00 pm or 6:00 pm and that day has not come yet.

Every day morning when I call my parents to ask them if they have  received anything, and they say no, I feel shameful and disgusted that I  took the decision to hand over such important stuff to such an  unreliable company.

The story does not end there, when they moved my household stuff to  Bangalore, they misplaced my dining table and gas cylinder when inquired  we found out that the Ganpati packers and movers guys had removed the  cylinder from the consignment at Gurgaon itself and did not send it in  the consignment when threatened that payment will not be made I was  promised that the cylinder will be sent back in 4-5 days however as you  might have guesses already neither the dining table nor the gas cylinder  has been delivered and to add salt on my wounds the stuff that reached  Bangalore did not reach in good shape either, the packing was so bad  that almost every carton was open when it reached Bangalore, my glass  center table, RO system, Gas cooker, crockery and earthen pots were  damaged beyond repair. Whereas Fridge, Microwave, washing machine were  damaged superficially(note: insurance does not cover claims for  superficial damage). I am currently going through the pain of getting  claim from insurance for the items above.

To conclude, I made a huge mistake by relying on Ganpati packers and  movers to move my household items. If you are planning to take services  from any packers and movers, never trust Ganpati packers and movers with  your stuff. There are other such reviews about this company on internet  as well.

I am taking the route or Police complaint and consumer court to find a  resolution but please reconsider before doing business with this  company. All individuals working in Ganpati Packer and movers are most  untrustworthy, unreliable, unprofessional and indecent.
