I had visited September 2010 with a long my M.Tech friends this place for trekking. Absolutely loved it.All of us enjoyed there …The trek itinerary was going through Kanchendzonga National Park.
The zoo was built up on the mountain so the clouds surrounding us and the trekking route through the zoo for the various animals were quite mesmerizing. It hardly felt like a zoo.
Animals could be seen clearly and some of them are quite majestic. Examples Leopards, Pea-cocks, Blue sheep and off-course Red Panda. I was in Park for almost one and half day. Every morning is just awesome its killer to see sunrise in Kanchendzonga National Park. And In night the science help you to see inside yourself. We are lucky so that we had seed the Himalayan mountain sheep. Kanchendzonga National Park sightseeing can be combined with another sightseeing itinerary as this takes nearly half day.Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim which is also most beautiful state in India.
