Visiting Sikkim was one great experience for me. I along with my friends did a 3 nights 4 days trip to North Sikkim during the month of April this year.The place was extremely beautiful. The tour covered places like Lachung, Lachen, Thangu, Gurudongmar Lake, Yumthang and Yumesamdong.
The roads are not very good so I would advice you guys not to plan your trip during the monsoon which starts from late July to the end of August. We had arranged our tour with TSOZUM TOURS & TRAVELS based at Gangtok. The staff were well trained, very hospitable and the service was superb. Although the rooms that we were alloted didnt have all the facilities of a city hotel ( None of the hotels do in North Sikkim)such as TV or phone, but the people who run the lodge were very kind and helpful.
If you do plan to visit Sikkim I would suggest that you try the serices of Tsozum tours and Travels, which is on eof the leading tour and trek operators based at Gangtok. You could log on to their website: https://toursikkim.com for your tour details.
