Not bad .... WARNING SPOILERS IN HERE!!!!. Review on Gangster

Well.. I saw this movie twice.. and both times not out of choice.. I was dragged by friends... and in the end.. though it has its weak ends.. I liked the movie... Read ahead only if u like spoilers and random ramblings... I never stick to the point anywhere..

Well the female in the film.. shouldnt have been allowed to speak.. she was better of in the role of the silent dancer at the bar. Coz she sure scared me when she spoke.... ok so im being mean... :) the villain( or hero ). anyways i'll call him our hero Ahuja a.k.a. Daya the small time shooter in Gullus a.k.a Khan's gang. Falls in love with the lady in the lead and this causes his life to get into a mess(atleast from the point of view of gangsters). How he lives the next 5 years and its effect on the lady is whats shown to us in flashback.. . btw. the idea was nice... a flashback in a flashback kind of story... :)) like a double decker flashback story.. and ways there are a quite a few slick scenes in the movie.. most of which portray Daya in various situations.

Emraan the serial kisser disappointed the public here.. only one solitary kiss.. but he sure did the job on the heroine.. atleast in the movie. ( a comment by a frend while watching this happen..''pata tha.. chichora hai emraan.. usko Kaam Hona'' ) I cud sense the audience groan in disappointment( Yes its true.. I saw it in chennai and if anyone of you have seen a movie in a chennai movie hall would know what i'm talking about). Im reminded of the publics comments while watching this movie.. there is a scene where emraan says , '': Mere maa baap aaj tak kisi ko gaali tak nahi diye'' and one guy in the audience calls out ,'' Mallika ko kitne diye honge'' :)) anyways I know im rambling..

A small but very nice performance though not unexpected was from Gullu bhai.. the original bad man.. I love his acting anyday.. and he did a great job though he came in only a couple of scenes.. his last entry was pretty hot .. while the song Ya Ali is going on in the back ground.. one of the best scenes in the movie....

One more thing.. the hero.. Daya.. he cant cry to save his life.. he only wails like an animal in pain... you feel like performing euthanasia to spare him the pain when he cries.. thank the director it was only twice .. anyways.. the story is comes to an end.. Emraan double crosses the lady only to catch Daya... hes a cop.. ( he says seducing the lady was part of his duty.. yeah right) that pisses her off to no end.. and so she does what a gangster wud have done.. training tells .. she pumps him full of bullets.. and then catches on inreturn too.. anyways the ending was kinda weird.. and drama baaz... he gets hung.. and she jumps off..

last scene reminds u of Gladiator...:)) touch down instead of being a nice ''SPLAT'' u find her dancing in a garden in the afterworld I guess..

Last word:

worth watching for the songs, and for those few scenes of Gullu Bhai , and also Daya's not so bad acting..
