Gangaa is a daily soap telecasted on & tv channel. The show revolves around the life of a child widow. The protagonist is a little girl named gangaa who is bereaved of her parents at tender age. Further she gets married in little age and her husband also passes. So she is left as a child widow in a very less age.
The show focuses how troubled life a widow has and how she is treated as social outcast. The show is running successfully for some time and forces us viewers to think about our societal structure which at one places worships female Godesses but treats a widow so badly. Kudos to the showmakers for such an inspirational concept.
