Lies was the album that came around the late 80's. It was one of the best albums of GNR till now. With songs like patience, one in a million, etc. If you say to compare with any of their romantic numbers, I would rather suggest patience to be one of the best. The true contents of patience is about wooing your love, and such sort of stuff.
But the thing which I like in patience is the acoustic guitars played by Slash, Izzy and duff, and especially slash really did a good job. With the instrument, talking about lyrics I think W. Axle rose did a fine job with the https://lyrics.
One in a million, though this song was completely filled with hatred, what the band had done is that they had filtered all the violence that goes around in the world and they have put it into this song. I think it is a masterpiece.
On the whole, Lies is quite a good album and I hope you hear it.
