I am a audio enthusiast. Recently i bought the above product from Amazon india. the service excellent also the product. If u r thinking of upgrading ur existing old DVD player just try this. This DAC comes with two inputs
Optical digital input from DVD.
Co axial digital input from DVD. And both can be connected at a time! the unit will take optical input first as default, if no optical input then it takes coaxial digital input automatically. U can connect two DVD players at a time, one to optical & one to coaxial. the output of this DAC is L/R stereo RCA. Which can be connected to ur existing amplifier Or Home theatre.
The sound quality is much superior with very good detail. The DAC costs with optical & RCA cables Rs:1200/- to 1400/-. Its worth the try. ( when u connect ur DVD players digital out then ur DVD players on board DAC is by passed. (normally the on board DAC is of cheap quality).
