Things you can do in a Driverless Car. Review on Future Technologies

With Google, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Lexus, Toyota and other automakers investing heavily into the Research and Development of Self-driving or driverless cars, it can be assumed that driverless car revolution will be a reality probably in the next five years. The breakthrough of auto technology may just prove to be fun for us.

Think about it, on a long drive you can simply relax in the backseat while the car takes you to the destination. Now that your hands are off the wheel, think of the things you can do to occupy yourself on the way.

Here's all you can do when self-driving cars become a reality:

• Sleep: You can now find comfort in your car. Spend your leisure time with a luxurious sleep, put those cushy seats and ample leg space to a good use.

  
  




• Call or text someone: The police cannot fine you for talking on the phone because you aren't driving. While your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/mother is happy that you took some time out to talk, you can have the pleasure of calling someone while driving past the police and not getting caught.

  
  




• Plan a date: A sedan has ample space and some driverless cars, come equipped with turn-around front seats. Simply get food, wine, play some music, and drive past the seaface. Who needs a fancy restaurant when you can have a romantic as well as private dinner in your own little space?

  
  




• Read a Book: Remember the last time you wanted to read a book but couldn't squeeze it in your schedule? Well, now you have all the time. Make a list of books you'd like to read and you can get started.

  
  




• Watch Movies / TV Series: You wouldn't have to wait till the end of the day to catch up with your favourite movie or TV series. You can see them on the go and talk about it to your colleagues at work.

  
  




• Get Drunk: Its not drunken driving, if you aren't driving. Put those drunken limit worries to rest and drink to your heart's content.

  
  




• Makeout in the car / Car sex: This is may be a little too far-fetched or may get adventurous considering that we live in India. However, in the spirit of'fun', the driverless car to-do list is incomplete without car sex. Simply, get into the back seat and take advantage of the situation.
