I have nothing personal against Whirlpool but this review is just to highlight some issues and my experience with Whirlpool fully automatic washiing machine.
I bought a 7kg loading fully automatic washing machine two years back and within 6 months of the purchase the washing machine stopped working. To be precise there was no display.
I called the service center and the PCB was replaced for free.. After this just before the warranty was suppose to end the washing machine was switching on but was unable to do anything and was making a very loud sound. I called the whirpool service center again and after lot of arguments finally I got the PCB replaced again second time.
To my disbelief, 3.5 months the washing machine again failed to start. I really could not believe this and as I work with a product based company too and have quite sound understanding of the components and quality.
Anyways, I again called up the service center and this time they said that the warranty of the PCB is only 3 months so I paid Rs.4000 to get it fixed and yet again after 4 months it started showing E1 error. The service personal came and did something and the next day the machine was dead again.
The pcb has again gone down. I was really frustated with the quality of the components being put in the most expensive part of the machine. So, I finally sold it for Rs.1000 and moved ahead. My advise to all the buyers is please think 10 times before buying a whirlpool washing machine and do not put your money in the cheap quality of their product and services.
There customer relationship manager never replies too and would hardly help you in case yuo get an opportunity to speak with him..
SO STAY AWAY FROM WHIRLPOOL if you want durability and quality...
