I have been using a point and click sony for some years and had lately felt that i needed to do more with the camera specially since i have been travelling a lot lately and wanted better quality pictures. Specially zoom shots. I was not ready for a dslr nor wanted to invest in one so i went looking for a 15x optical zoom camera with more 10 or more megapixels, i also needed good video recording capability. My additional requirement was for a camera which took decent pictures without deploying the flash. I came across the fine pix 2000hd and liked the camera. I have been using it for about three months and am satisfied with it. The picture quality is good specially night pictures, focusing excellent.
I will be able to write more details in a month or so when i have tried the camera more. I picked this for about rs 12, 000.00 and till now it seems good value for money buy.
