Top loading fully automatic washing machine - go for it. Previously semi automatic washing machine was the favorite one in our country, but now a days fully automatic'top loader' washing machine is in trend.
Front loading washing machine has most of option you can imagine and is recommended only where water and electric supply is good enough and comparatively good skill to operate the machine.
Front loading machine will take some years to be popular in India.
Go for top loading fully automatic washing machine. Samsung LG IFB are recommended. IFB and Whirlpool may have some service issue and a little costly too.
You can find inbuilt heater in only Whirlpool top loader.
