The first time I started using online recharge services, it was through freecharge. It was only freecharge that got me into online recharges and using wallet service but over time the quality declined and competitors took over it.
Earlier there were lots and lots of cash back offers and many more offers. Then suddenly offers stopped coming. Another big reason for my switch to another service was their application which was extremely lagging and there came a time when fit few months there application didn't worked on Android KitKat.
After that I never came back to Freecharge.
Now there are absolutely no offers to entice customers, no extra services that can tempt customers to use their service and don't get me started on their customer service.
There was a 10% cash back max upto?100 offer on BSNL landline recently and I paid my bill of around?798. Accordingly I should have been awarded a cash back of?79.8 roughly translating to?79 but to my surprise, I only got?60. Now like a normal person I told the same to their customer care but the reply I got was sir you have been given the cash back as per the coupon. Your coupon was of 10% max upto?100. I tried to explain that I know the terms if coupon but I got less amount of cash back but I always got the same reply as if they feeded that to the computer.
After that I even uninstalled their app.
Another big blunder they did was to get into relationship with snapdeal. Out of all the online vendors, they could find only snapdeal which is famous for selling soap bars in iPhone cases.
