63rd year of Indian Independence..a fake pride backed with a plethora of scars that are far more prominent, leaving those who are awake and aware, ruminating about several facts, the most conspicuous of which would be an uneasy question-
Are we really free @ 63 years of Independence? This is the question asked loud and clear by INFERNO in their first studio Album titled - FREE @ 63.
From a country that was enslaved to Britisher's to a country that has the freedom to choose its own tyrants today. We may have reached India Inc. but still most of the India is poor, they have been and continue to be mislead by corrupt politicians, extremist & religious leaders who spread communal hatred & killings, numerous all in the name of caste, state, money and what not.
Is it high time that we stop going with the flow, submit to systems and make a choice to start introspecting about what went wrong and how can we rectify it for a better India - Indeed.This album is a strong step taken to propel a thought in one and all, from the classes to the masses, especially those Indians who celebrate 15th august as just another national HOLIDAY. To realize the false glory which has been associated with free India and think of the ground realities - Are you really free?

No pain no gain: This song describes the state of hierarchy, misuse of power to divide people on communal and racist lines. This song reasons, questions people to use their minds and bridge the gap being created by these worthless M.O.Ps'.
Saare jahan se achcha: This century old song being brought up in a new way so as to add the emotions of the present youth who not only have the zeal to cover it and let people know the NEED to be together but also WANT everyone to be together
Freedom: 6 decades on.. is this the real freedom we were promised of when Pt. Jawahar lal Nehru hoisted the tricolour? Misuse of power, corruption taking quantum leaps, the anger and the anguish of todays youth is pretty much evident in the dramatic end.
Bata kahan gaye woh pal: This song is actually about raising a point on politicians who're corrupt and the youth who's not concerned and about how the entire struggle for getting our independence by the people who sacrificed their lives seems to be a LOST cause.
Dama dam mast kalandar: The most eternal, pure and vintage sufi track with a fusion of rock.
The band song: This song divided in parts, tells something about each and very band member in a nutshell, how they are or how they were or are they still the way they think they are or were...
This one sure does deserved a two thumbs up.. for their efforts, for their cause and of-course for their brilliant music...
